Staving off bad style

Philosophy these days lacks the punchy penmanship of a Plato, a Nietzsche, or a Kierkegaard. The English still have a nice bit of bite, but I suggest we enhance our erudition with some pugnacious Puritanical pejoratives. For instance, "Physicalism is the whore-son of an iniquitous ontology." This has both the value of a true proposition, but also, with our Puritanical panache, it has the value of being interesting.
